FixlyDesk is being built in three deliberate phases, and we’ve completed the first. Here’s an honest look at where the platform stands today and what we’re focused on next.
On August 26, 2026, FixlyDesk opened to the public. Signups went live, payments went live, and everyone on the waitlist was invited in. The platform is fully built and operational: a client can post a job, a technician can quote it, and the money moves safely between them.
This is where all of our attention sits right now, and it’s the reason you won’t see a flood of jobs on the board yet. That is by design. We are not marketing to clients until there is a strong, verified technician ready on the other end of every request — because a customer who posts a job and hears nothing back is a customer we have lost for good.
The response so far has been encouraging. Applications from independent IT technicians are coming in at a steady pace, each one ID-verified and reviewed by hand before approval, and our Refer a Tech program is helping good technicians bring in other good technicians.
If you fix computers for a living, this is the moment to join. The technicians who are in place before Phase 2 begins are the ones who will be first in line when the work arrives.
Once the network has the depth to answer requests quickly and locally, we open the taps on the client side: paid campaigns, local outreach, and partnerships aimed at the homes and small businesses that need a technician they can genuinely trust.
We are doing this in order on purpose. Marketing to customers before we can serve them properly would be the fastest way to lose both sides at once.
